Solidfund is a permanent common fund, paid for by the voluntary subscriptions of:
- worker cooperative members
- workers' cooperatives
- other individuals and organisations that support industrial democracy and collective ownership.
How it works
As a member of the fund you contribute from as little as £1 per week, individually or through your co-op or organisation. Through your contribution you help Solidfund to:
- strengthen worker co-operative solidarity
- support industrial democracy and collective ownership
- develop worker co-operative education and support activities
Fund members participate on a basis of openness, equality and mutual respect. We communicate through the open source, online democracy platform Loomio, where we:
- hold discussions about activities and potential uses of the Fund’s resources
- create proposals for actions and policies
- make decisions with other members on an equal basis
